A Therapist Retreat
Our attachment-informed retreat is designed for therapists, counsellors, and psychotherapists who want time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their practice and with peers in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Therapeutic work can be demanding and isolating. This retreat creates space to step back from daily pressures, restore emotional balance, and strengthen your professional foundations alongside others who understand the work’s depth and complexity.
When?
Friday 26th & 27th June 2026, with Saturday night an optional extra.
Where?
The Odney Club, Odney Lane, Cookham, Berkshire, SL6 9SR

- Share thoughtful conversation and collegial support
- Find restful moments and space to integrate insights
- Participate at your own pace with optional activities
This isn’t clinical group therapy, but a professionally guided retreat that blends reflection, connection, and self-care grounded in ethical practice.
Why should I choose this retreat?
Therapeutic work can be professionally lonely, particularly for clinicians who practise independently. This retreat offers a space to connect with peers who understand the realities of the work, fostering professional community, reflection and renewed engagement.
Connection is facilitated thoughtfully, with clear boundaries, choice and an emphasis on psychological safety. Grounded in attachment theory and contemporary therapeutic practice, the retreat recognises the importance of a secure base for learning, regulation and ethical self-care within professional contexts.
This is not group therapy, but a professionally facilitated retreat offering structured reflection, learning and collegial connection.
